Meet Sami
Your Mother’s Blessings Coordinator in Denver, Colorado
How do I support mothers? I facilitate women’s circles—sacred gatherings where mothers can connect in vulnerability, share wisdom, and find strength. These spaces aren’t just about spirituality; they’re about rebuilding community, embracing the highs and lows of motherhood, and holding space for one another in an authentic, meaningful way.
In addition to my work with women’s circles, I am currently studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant mentoring under Kristi Conroy, IBCLC. I am also enrolled in Childbirth Internationals Lactation Consultant and Postpartum Doula through coursesl. I want to ensure that every mother has access to compassionate, evidence-based support during one of the most transformative times in her life.
I deeply believe in inclusivity, equality, and the power of sisterhood. Every woman—regardless of background, race, identity or orientation—deserves a space where she is seen, valued, and heard. I bring this commitment into every circle I facilitate, ensuring that all mothers feel welcome and honored in their journeys.
I also have a deep appreciation for the divine feminine—the energy of creation, intuition, and nurturing that flows through every woman. Through my 200 hour yoga training I have a better understanding of the connection between mind, body, and spirit, which I weave into my work with mothers. Holding space for women as they heal and grow is something I take seriously, with deep respect for the energy and experiences each woman brings.
When I’m not holding space for mothers, you’ll probably find me hiking, camping, baking sourdough bread, or tending to our little backyard homestead.
Above all, I believe motherhood was never meant to be walked alone. If you’re looking for support, connection, or a space to honor your journey, I welcome you with open arms.
Let’s create something beautiful together!
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Sami—a wife, mother, educator, and advocate for women’s empowerment. Originally from New Jersey, I now call Denver home, where my family and I have created our own little sanctuary—what we affectionately call Halley Hens Homestead. Our humble two-bedroom bungalow may be in the city, but we’ve embraced a touch of homestead life with a backyard chicken coop, an ever-evolving garden, and plenty of muddy adventures with our toddler, two mischievous cats, and a fluffy dog.
For seven years, I have worked as an elementary school teacher, shaping young minds and fostering inclusive learning spaces. While I love teaching, motherhood changed me in ways I never expected. After experiencing a challenging birth and feeling the deep lack of postpartum support, I saw firsthand how isolating the transition into motherhood can be.
This realization sparked a passion within me: to create spaces where mothers feel seen, supported, and held in community. I believe every person’s journey—through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond—is sacred and deserves to be honored. This is why I founded Blessings and Bloom, a space where women can come together to share, heal, and uplift one another.
